Hi There There's one complex part in this project and I'd like to know how you are planning to deal with it. If you mount S3 bucket as a drive then the different users data can be accessed by another user coz in S3 bucket you can't secure files based on system/FTP username. Besides I'm super expert in AWS. Backing sftp with s3 is problematic. A smarter bet is to use the newly introduced EFS from Amazon. This is essentially a flexible file system like nfs mounted onto a UNIX volume. Total bit for completion $1000 and I can do it in a week.

I have understood the requirements and mentioned it below. 1. Create an EBS backed linux instance, it will deployed using Elastic Beanstalk 2. Create FTP and SFTP server with S3 bucket mounted as a drive and it will reside behind ELB so that traffic of FTP clients will be distributed across the servers. I will use USERDATA to configure the servers behind ELB. 3. Build a cron job which will fetch information about users and then action will be taken based on the information. Requirements:- 1. Access to aws services like S3, ELB AND EC2 etc. 2. It will take atleast 20 man hours.
