Hi
I Work for an upcoming company which specialises in designing Engine parts. In this project i need help with solving the interference fit of a gear and a shaft based on thermal Expansion.
Files will be sent to Bidders.
Hello,
I'm a mechanical engineer with good skills in Autocad, Solidworks, and Sketchup. I'm able to create 2D drawings and 3D models from scratch, modifying, and finalizing.
I can complete the project for you.
Regards,
Hany
I have obtained Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, possessing strong knowledge of mechanical design & manufacturing and outstanding capability of space imagination, being particularly interested in CAD design and proficient in applying 3-D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Pro/E and CATIA, having intern experience as Designer/Drafter, as well as a series of project experiences in CAD design field. I feel that my skills and experience are a great fit for this project.
It is good idea fitting a shaft in a Gear, using a thermal expansion method.
I can help you using numeric calculations on excel for one dimensional heat transfer.
And by using expansion modulus calculating the radial expansion of shaft outside of the gear, and stress on part of the shaft in the gear (Assuming that heat convection from gear is much less than heat conduction through the shaft.)
Regards
Best wishes for your upcoming endeavor!
Based on Design Data by PSG and thermal expansion considerations, this project is quite fundamental and simple which I can finish in 3 days. I could provide you an analysis of the assembly too if you wish(1 day).
I am medalist of International Physics Olympiad . I am profficient in solving engieering problems. I have solved hundereds of intergerence and clearence based problems, hence I can guarantee that you will be happy of my work.
I am student of Mechanical Engineering and I have studied these things in Mechanics of Machine and In Machine Design. I can do this project for you. I habe too much information about fits of shaft and gears.
