Custom plugin for Appgyver Steroids (Phonegap) project to make it correctl display custom Arabic webfont

I have developed a mobile app in javascript/html5 using [login to view URL] and Appgyver Steroids (Cordova/Phonegap with additional features). It is an Arabic lang application. I'm using @font-face in the webview to show a custom Arabic font. This works fine in Android but in iOS it always uses the default system font instead of the custom font. From my research this is due to glyph rendering limitations in mobile safari/webview (it works on desktop safari). I found a solution here: [login to view URL] this uses pre-parsing to deliver the text to iOS in a way it can correctly render the text. I'm looking for someone to help me inplement this solution within my phonegap (Appgyver Steroids) app either using JS in the main app itself before passing text, or using an ios Objective-C snippet in the 'platforms' directory of my app, as with regular Cordova apps.
