We have a search engine PHP script that posts results to a static .html document through a javascript call.
On some wireless Internet devices (mobile phones, PDA browsers), no results are visible on this page. The page is blank and we do not know why. These mobile devices are java-enabled.
There is another website that uses an .aspx script to post search results to a static .html document through a javascript call. Those results ARE visible on the page in a wireless device.
We believe the problem must be in our PHP script -- maybe how our PHP script formats the results.
We need an expert in ASP.Net to examine the .aspx script from this other website (we will provide it), and a programmer who is also an expert in PHP and can examine the code in our PHP script to find out the reason why our search results do not appear in wireless browsers but the .aspx script results do.
I dont feel it is a big issue. There might be some issues with JAVASCRIPT which is part of PHP code as you mentioned. Most of the devices allow different versions of JAVASCRIPT. Better avoid using Client side scripting and use only Server Side Code.
Better if you provide me the code where you are facing issues, so that i can give you exact estimate for the efforts required for it..
