This project is for a ASP.net programmer to change dynamic urls to static ones.
for the site [login to view URL] that sells food products.
For example, a url like this one for shrimp and grits [[login to view URL]<wbr />/store/[login to view URL]<wbr />?productID=17&category=9&page=0][1]
needs to be this [[login to view URL]<wbr />/entrees/shrimp-and-grits][2]
The url rewriting should be server side. Maybe 3-6 hours worth of time to get the regular expressions figured out and making sure all of the external files are linked correctly (javascript & css) since the directory structures will be changed.
There is some home page 301 redirect that needs to be done (only one home page at [login to view URL])
The site has a CMS system which needs meta tag info (description, title, and keywords) entered into the database and built into the user input system on the CMS.
The CMS needs some more flexibility such as moving categories up and down on the left menu.
Once done, I'll need the site transferred over from one server to another and transferred from a .net domain to a .com domain.
## Deliverables
This project is for an internal server rewrite using isapi rewrite plugin, not an external client redirect. This is .net not php.
I'd like to rewrite all pages so they are static and would also want the home page to just be [[login to view URL]][3] without [login to view URL] as well so the web isnt confused as to know which home page to link to.
My idea for the urls on products is this: the category would go first, then the product.
For example, biscuit mix is in the category of breads and batters, so the url will go from
[[login to view URL]<wbr />/[login to view URL]:<wbr />\Inetpub\vhosts\gullahgourmet<wbr />.net\gullah_images\ProductImage<wbr />s\125\Biscuit_Web.jpg&Thumb<wbr />=true][4]
to [[login to view URL]<wbr />-and-batters/biscuit-mix][5]
All urls need to be rewritten as stiatic pages like this and this is most of the project and if a new product is created it should be a clean static url as well.
There are two links on the home page that link to the store so one needs to be deleted.
The CMS customization wil involve adding meta tags and being able to move product categories around.
I'll provide a list of what all urls should look like, so you won't be guessing what the final static pages should be. Feel free to ask any questions you may have!
After the project is completed we then need to install it on the domain of [login to view URL]
Thanks!
