ASP login page with md5 hash

**Overview:** I need a basic user authentication web site that accepts a username and password from a user, checks this information against a username and md5 hashed password in a database, and (if authenticated) places the user on a secure web page. This site will be used as a learning tool and a template for an existing site. The code will be modified heavily, so the final product must be as simple as possible and well-documented. **Details:** The login page should have two text boxes (labeled username and password) and a Submit button. Upon entering this information, the page should use the specified Javascript hashing algorithm (attached) to hash the password. This hashed password will be compared to the hashed password in a separate database (see table structure below). If the information is incorrect, the user should be directed to a page that informs the user that the username/password was incorrect and allow him to try again. If the authentication information is correct, the user should be directed to a page that simply states "Your login was successful". This page should be secure, so that any attempts to access this page directly (without logging in) will forward the user to the login screen. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The web site must be done in HTML and ASP. The hashing algrothim used must be the attached Javascript file. This site must be able to run under Microsoft IIS 4.0 with Microsoft SQL 2000 as the backend database.
