Browser based spreadsheet/database application for Construction Estimating(repost)

We would like to develop a browser based fixed-definition spreadsheet that allows the user to pick records from a database of items and then populates the spreadsheet. We will provide the record layout for the items in the database. When selecting items to populate the spreadsheet with, we must have drag and drop functionality. When using the spreadsheet by itself the following items must be included: 1) ability to sort on up to three fields of data with overlines column by double clicking 2) automatic best fit column resizing 3) fixed size spreadsheet with the ability to handle up to 1000 lines. 4)the ability to have multiple occurences of an item and the ablity to combine like items 5)items with incomplete data will show as shaded differently (we will define what incomplete data is) Speed is very important. This will be deployed to a Microsoft .Net and .ASP server. See the attached screen shots for an idea of a disk based program that has much of the functionality we need. FURTHER CLARIFICATION POINTS: The spreadsheet (also known as an "estimate") must be able to be saved individually. The user must have the ability to navigate to and open spreadsheets stored on disk. The database must have a "back end" screen to allow editing, adding, and deleting of items. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
