I am a very busy web developer in San Francisco, and I need substantial help with a project I am working on.
The project is a website for a company called Il Piccolino. This project will be implemented using Storefront 6, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. I currently have a rough template and site map which I have attached to this request.
I am looking for either or both of the following to be implemented
Redesign of the template, and design of the site pages
Coding of the site using Storefront 6
SEE DELIVERABLES FOR OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION. I AM LOOKING FOR AS MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COMPANY AS POSSIBLE FOR A NUMBER OF FUTURE PROJECTS
## Deliverables
Optional: Some redesign of the template
Required: Your company must become familiar with Storefront 6 software (I will provide)
Optional: Your company may be involved in the design of individual pages, where I provide you with text and images and ask for pages to be designed
Required: Your company will implement the design and site using Storefront 6 software. You will implement the design from pages designed using Macromedia Fireworks.
Required: Your company will deliver a full working ecomerce solution ready to be implemented on my server.
Notice the optional / required sections. If your company is strong in graphic design, I will simply give you the rough template, images, and text, and have you implement the entire site. If your company is strong in coding but not graphic design, I will do the design myself and have you do just the coding
**VERY IMPORTANT:**I am a very busy web developer, looking for a long term partner to implement and maintain many sites. Some of the other sites that I need significant enhancements to or that I need completely redone include: [[login to view URL]][1], [[login to view URL]][2], and several others. I currently have several offshore groups working on these sites, and want to consolidate down into one. So in addition to the specifics on this projects, I would like to know:
- Your overall experience in .NET and Linux technologies (primarily .NET)
- Your portfolio pieces, both for coding and design
- Your experience with Commerce Server 2002 (for a major redesign of the Golden Bear site)
- Your approach to collaborative offshore development. Do you use instant messenger + email only? Do you have a custom job and issue tracking tool? Have you ever used Groove for collaboration, or would you be willing to?
- Your willingness to enter into a service contract for my web server which would include uptime monitoring and maintenance.
- Your hours of availability (extremely important)
- Your standard hourly billing rate, assuming I am feeding you a large volume of work and using you as my primary contractor
- The speed and reliability of your Internet connection
- Your location
- Anything else that distinguishes your company
The group I pick to do the Il Piccolino site will most likely wind up doing the Golden Bear site in Commerce Server 2002 and possibly a very large revision of the primetimecasting site, so please send me as much information as possible.
