Development of a System to Track College Applications (ASP.NET Preferred)

The project is to develop a web system where college applications will be submitted, sorted and retrieved. This project is not for the graphic design work, it is only for the programming in ASP.NET (with VB) and SQL Server 2000. There are four components to the system, all which must be developed: a public/informational website, an interface for applicants to complete college applications, an interface for colleges to retrieve applications, and an interface for guidance counselors to view (read-only) applications. Many screens will be wizard-like. We will provide to you the vast majority (90%+) of the screens in HTML. You will be responsible for taking this, along with our clear wireframes to develop a secure and architectually sound web system. We will provide some guidance on database schema and design and site flow/module mapping. The full system will consist of approximately 125-140 fairly simplistic screens and most peform simple functionality of selects, inserts and updates from the database. Key to the wizards will be to maintain the step a user is on and tight security. The system will also need to accept credit cards and produce graphs, and dynamics PDFs and .csv files. We will also be providing you with an already coded chat support application and survey system that you will integrate. On request, we will provide to you the necessary components to perform the above functions. Please provide samples of your work when bidding. We look forward to working with you. ## Deliverables **We will require you to plan the system and document how it will work.** The deadline is set at 45 days, and should proceed roughly along this plan: Phase 1 - Requirements, Detailed Documentation and Technical System Design (including DB and security architecture). (approx. 10 days) Phase 2 - Programming and Development. (Approx. 20 days, which delivery of latest work every 5 days) Phase 3 - Extenstive Testing and Debugging.. (Approx. 7 days) Phase 4 - Deployment. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows?
