I need a program to study off of. It is a program that will print numeric palindromes based on a combination of month,day, and year. The input consists of a starting year number and the number of palindromes starting with that year. With the given inputs print the next series of palindromes. This program must have a recursive function that checks the input parameter for a palindrome. The function prototype should have the form
int palindrome(char string[],start,end);
where
*string* contains the string to be checked
*start* the starting subscript of the string to be checked.
*end* the ending subscript to be checked.
This function returns a 1 (one) if string is a palindrome and a 0 (zero) if not. Assume that the user inputs are correct. Don't worry about leap years because no year that ends with 922 is a leap year.
The input should look like this.
Please enter the starting year: *the user enters a year*
Number of palindromes: *the user enters a number*
Palindrome #1: *palindrome displayed here*
Palindrome #2:
Palindrome #3:
and so on..
You will need to convert the month, day, and year into character strings using the itoa or ltoa fuctions and concatenate them to form a string for the palindrome function to check.
And the palindrome fuction should be about three statements long.
You must use alot of comments. Decribing the fuctions and variables. Thanks. I should be able to compile the source code on Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Thanks.
