I am looking for a component that does three things. First, a method that copies all files from a CD Rom to a specific path on the hard drive. This must be able to even copy slightly corrupted files so CD's with Copy protection will still work. The parameters would be CD Drive, and path on hard drive. The second method would be to accept the path on the hard drive and it will copy the information to a new drive. The new drive letter would be the next one on the alphabet. If the last letter was F, the drive created would be G. This drive will act just like the CD Rom so games or programs requiring the CD's will still work without needing the actual CD's. The final method would delete the virtual drive. The regular CD emulator programs only allow up to 20 virtual drives because there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. Doing it this way, only one virtual drive would be used at a time. Can be done in C++ but if you do, then interface it with Visual Basic.
