Blackberry Project - Comms Issues.

We are using DataMirror’s Pointbase Micro database on the Blackberry, and Pointbase Unisync hub to synchronize with our MS SQL database on the server. We are connecting directly through a URL, but seem to get intermittent failures ??" timeouts and DNS errors. These look like networking errors and we are wondering if there are parameters we can put on the URL to help with this, or if we need to run through RIM’s Blackberry Enterprise Server in order for it to work properly. We are also running the Blackberry 4.0 OS. We are looking for someone that can provide immediate help in troubleshooting, as well as any recommendations on how to best configure our application for being more stable. Details will follow once we are able to gauge your expertise. You must be willing to demonstrate your knowledge of the subject matter prior to bid acceptance. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
