Hi,
I have had a access database and admin panel coded in .asp made for a site that is live now, but it is not working properly. There are several issues that I need someone to resolve for me please.
I am unable to contact the original coder, and this is now urgent. Can you help please.
Below is the info provided to the original coder.
Hi -
Just a few small details. I have been testing the database and I notice that there is no password protection on the admin page. Can you please fix this?
Secondly I run windows IE7, IE6 and an Apple Mac with Safari and I have noticed in testing that in IE7 the results page defaults to the homepage, while in the others it defaults as you have said to the current [login to view URL] page.
Third thing is that again in testing, when I enter admin and put data into the dealers box, and push update, then go back to the site and select the country and state that I have just put the information into, it returns an 'error' page when I push submit on the webpage in IE7. I have not tested this in the other browsers but would assume that this would be the same.
Last thing is, in the dealers box (admin) I need to enter dealers name, address, phone and fax details and email, and possibly a link to a website (not critical). Although I can enter all this information by simply just continuing to type in line in the box, it does not give me the option of structuring the infomation neatly, and when I return to the website, select the details, as I have already said it presents an 'error' page, but also when I re-enter admin half of my information that I put in previously has disappeared.
Would you be so kind as to test and fix these small issues please.
Thankyou - Greg D.
Additionally I need the person to also setup my contact forms on the same site. The 'formail' .asp script is already on the site.
