Data Visualization Control in Flash
$100-500 USD

Develop flash control to be embedded in html pages that will render a computer generated image based on data values provided to it via javascript code.
The javascript will provide transparency value (alpha), array of colors (palette) and a 2D array of indexes into the palette.
The flash control will convert the indexes and palette into a “heatmap?? representation and will render it on the entire area of the control while performing smooth scaling.
The control will respond to changes to its properties by redrawing the display.

## Deliverables
The visualization has to be smooth. Spaces between sample points have to be interpolated as if re-sampling is used. There should not be one color block per sample.
You can either use vector elements or stretch a BitmapData that you generate based on the data.
Should cope easily (less than 1 sec) with a 100X300 points dataset that is rendered over a 1000pxX3000px browser area.
Provide full example including html and js code operating the control and rendering an example data set.
No need to support Flash below version 9.
When bidding, please let us know what will be the limits on the data set (in term of horizontal and vertical data samples) and the limits on control’s size (in terms of maximal area in pixels the control could cover in the html). This part is very important as it will be used to test your competence with flash/actionscript and check that you have read the specs in detail.
