Converting current site, [login to view URL], to wordpress. Site is an environmental news press release distribution service and business directory.
1) Press releases can be posted by (logged in) members. Site should be able to accept video and images/logos. For members posting press releases, there is a free and a paid option. All press releases post to their directory profile page (see below) and free members have the ability to upgrade their postings to include one or several of: a) appear on our front page, b) be included in our end-of-day email distribution list and c) be sent to our external distribution partners.
2) The directory listing is a business profile (like those on [login to view URL]), where members can provide basic information about their company. Free members have the ability to upgrade their directory listing to become a featured listing within their industry category. Sites should be able to accept member's logos and video the site should (like manta) have a "claim your listing" feature for those companies that have yet to submit their information.
May require 2-3 Wordpress plugin's see below (need programmer to evaluate) and some custom work.
