Hi,
i have scrapping software for collecting horse racing arbitrage opportunities that scrapes lay prices from betdaq and smarkets betting exchanges and compares these to a third part odds comparison site.
i need to fix 2 small issues with the bot in terms of how it displays the prices.
the bot is gathering the prices from betdaq perfectly and also smarkets, but is not displaying the arbs for smarkets at the end of the scan, though the arbs for betdaq are displayed perfectly.I need this fixed to display these arbs for smarkets also, as it was functioning correctly in the beginning.
second issue is that when the arb results are displayed they are out of kilter by exactly 1 column to the left which means the bookie name is incorrect and the bookie prices need to be moved exactly 1 column to the right to read correctly.
i can send a picture of this to help illustrate the issue.
i have the source code for the project.
i need this done urgently.
any questions please ask.
thank you.
Hi,
I'd be happy to take a look at this for you. I am confident that I would be able to quickly identify and resolve the issues of results not displaying, and others displaying in the wrong position.
I would be available to start as early as tomorrow morning (March 26th)
Thank you for your consideration,
- Steven
Hello, the questions what is language of your spider? What is the website which you are crawling? I have ability of debug the problem if you can talk me more about your script & it is better if you let me log to your system so that I can run script & fix the bugs. In scraping website, we can use CSS selector or Xpath to extract values we want. In such a text processing, we can use regular expression to extract the right value. I am ready to help you on fixing these 2 bugs.
