Customised Products Preview (Custom T-shirts,mugs, etc.)

A new piece of software is required to add certain functionality to an existing oscommerce shopping cart that sells only personalised gifts like custom pillow cases, mugs, mouse pads, photo frames, jewellery etc. It is not like the usual t-shirt design/print websites. We allow the customers to personalise every product with their choice of name(s), and/or message(s), year, photo etc. At the moment the customer enters their personalisation values through the attribute system in oscommerce in the Product description page before adding the item to shopping cart. But there is no way for the customer to see how the final personalised product will look like. We are now planning to introduce a Preview feature that will allow the customer to preview the product (with their customisation) before adding it to the cart. The same code will be modified slightly to be used by the admin to generate a full resolution print-ready image that can be used for creating the actual product. The major requirements are: 1. Admin should be able to specify personalisation template for every product. This should include the final image's width, height, layout, the position of the different personalisation fields, the font sizes, styles, colour, background, etc. 2. A preview feature in the front-end for the customer to preview the product with their personalisation. 3. A photo uploader with basic editing (similar to JCrop) capabilities for the customer however retaining the appropriate dimensions/aspect ratio for the product as specified in the admin. A preview of the final image as it would go to print should be available. 4. A Print Ready image generation feature in the admin to download a print image for every product in the order. The admin should be able to modify the final image to make corrections if/where required. A document is attached with more details. Please contact for any further clarifications.
