Detect main URL from deep within iframes(repost)

We are looking for some Javascript code that will detect the main URL of the browser. The code must be able to detect this url even if it is nested deep in many Javascript document writes and/or iframes. It could use Flash, Javascript, or any kind of code, as long as it is lightweight and works in all major browsers. The challange in this task is that it has to work across more than one domain. This is where the problems arise. So the 4-5 different iframe includes will be hosted on different domains.
