This is a simple project for someone who has written web crawlers before.
I need a crawler that will take the following 3 inputs:
1) List of website or websites from a text file to crawl
2) File type to look for (txt, doc, xls, ppt, rtf, pdf)
3) Email address to send complete notification (no data sent, just an email saying "Crawl complete")
The crawler will then crawl the website or list of websites for the type of file requested. When the file type is found, then the file is downloaded to the server and the crawler continues until all sites are crawled.
The above inputs will be gathered from a web page located in a password protected directory on my own private server.
The web page for the crawler will have:
1) Website list name: (this is the name of the file that has the list of website or websites to crawl, file will be located in the crawler directory, so no need to browse for file)
2) Buttons or drop-down to choose what type of file to crawl for (txt, doc, xls, ppt, rtf, pdf)
3) Email address input box (this is where the "Crawl complete" email will be sent)
## Deliverables

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
