a previous developer made a bespoke module for bulk product import. i have a very large product database which will reach 100,000 products or more so my virtuemart store has been customised. we are running Joomla! 2.5.14 this import product module, currently works like this: upload csv import file. goto module set filename set fields and column number process certain fields have some customised coding so that data is mapped the right way. currently the module does not allow 'update' it only 'creates' products in the database. i need a way to update field data like prices, images etc. this project can lead to other projects as this website needs a really good joomla/virtuemart developer to finish off website. this project is just to make the product import module able to update. and also to fix the problems with the product search in virtuemart as there are some error codes when one trys to search for a product using stock number.
