Need a simple system to record orders, in and out of sales order, with ability to print the barcoded labels, following is what we do so it might give you an idea to do the project.
Core idea:
Say we receive parcels from company “A” along the information regarding the parcel such as Name of consignee , Address , Number of parcels, Bag number and Ref number .once we receive the parcel we then book them with third-party to send them over to different locations in UK or around the word , then we provide our client the tracking numbers of third party courier company from there they simply check the status of the parcel , some of the parcel get delivered by us too and we do the same send them the POD (proof of Delivery ) .
What I am Looking for:
I am looking for an online system which allows our clients to login and upload the excel sheet with the information as mentioned above , once we receive the shipment we want to update the status by inputting the third-party’s tracking number , a simple short message if such as “delivered” , “un-delivered”,”on hold” and if on hold then the reason why ? Or still in our “warehouse”,
Track able: once a excel sheet has been uploaded I want this to be trace able online too with the provided ref number on the excel sheet or the tracking number provided by us either way it must be traceable.
Barcodes : I want to print out the labels of the ref number uploaded , a simple system which will allows us to print by clicking single or multiple orders and then print the all on once sheet I will provide you the size of sheet of a mechanism to print on different size media .
