Data interfaces to feed Prestashop site

Hello,

My customer is selling IT products. He wants to automate the production of his products catalogue. At this end, we will have to :

1) Retrieve automatically the provider CSV product catalogue from an FTP server (let's say every week, TBC). We will probably have to add a procedure to check if products in the prestashop catalogue are still in the provider catalogue, TBC.

2) Create a special admin page in Wordpress where the user will be able to select the products from the provider catalogue that he wants to add to his prestashop catalogue (no need for deletion/modification ; this will be done in Prestashop). After selecting the product, a price multiplier will be defined in order to calculate the selling price.

3) Datasheet/pictures of the products will be retrieved automatically from IceCat (we can of course use a paid module, I will pay for it, but then please specify in your bid which one you want to use). Then the product is added to the prestashop products table with all the information described above.

The chosen PHP programmer will be very familiar with at least WP and Prestashop ; experience with IceCat is of course a big plus. Furthermore, I want someone able to respect deadlines and who communicates well. I will write a more advanced description that you will be able to review before you commit to the project. No time wasters please.

Please disregard Wordpress (or replace Wordpress by Prestashop in the description above) : I just realized Prestashop is not a WP module but a solution on its own...
