Please note: This bid request can be split in two. If you are a great back-end coder in asp.net I can find someone else for the ajax front-end, or vice versa.
I need a coder for the next version of my time management application. A first version was recently completed and has been tested for some weeks. This is only a barebones version with the main functionality in place, but the interface needs much more attention and some features are missing.
1. Front-end to be modified into Ajax. I need a high-level web 2.0 solution. Think 37signals, [login to view URL], flickr or rollyo. I will provide some templates in PSD format which you will use as starting point for the look of the interface. (Roughly 25% of project)
2. Bug fixing. Please login to [login to view URL] with username "a" and passwork "a" and chose the list ??Shared: Todo?? from the drop-down. This is a list of issues reported during initial testing of the application. These issues need to be fixed. (Roughly 25% of project)
3. Implement language/culture support ([login to view URL] framework and language files if possible). (Roughly 3% of project)
4. Implement support for national holidays in the calendar. (Roughly 6% of project)
5. Create the "contacts" section (basically this is only names, adresses, numbers, notes and birthdays). (Roughly 10% of project)
6. Create the archive feature (actions selected as "done" will be found in the archive). (Roughly 5% of project)
7. Improve usability in the column editing (I have an idea on how to this with drag-and-drop, but we’ll discuss it to find a good solution). (Roughly 6% of project)
8. Implement advanced calendar event settings such as recurrencies (for instance an event occuring once per month) and sharing (one calendar or different calendars to be shared by users for booking meetings or other activities). (Roughly 16% of project)
9. Implement printing feature (basically a printer-friendly design). (Roughly 4% of project)
