We are moving from Outlook 2003 to Act 2007. We currently have about 6,000 contacts in Outlook that will be converted to Act 2007. The conversion itself is planned out but there is a part that I am having to do manually.

Each contact has an attachment that needs to be added to the Activites tab. This file contains the history that we have kept that cannot be imported the normal way.

The manual way of doing this is to go to the contact, add a note, type in Archived Notes in the subject line, locate the attachment, attach the attachment and then copy similar text into the note field and save.

I'd like to automate this if possible. This version of Act is using an SQL db.

Please let me know if you need more clarification.
