Crystal Reports Scheduler and Viewer

VB6 or VB.Net application to automate the execution of Crystal Reports. The viewer should be built with Crystal Reports 9.0 DLL files (which I can provide if absolutely necessary). The purpose of this application is to allow a user to specify a report, values for the parameters in that report, a destination and a schedule the report should run on. The application will then run as a system tray icon and execute/export th reports a scheduled times with specified options. Complete specs, written by a programmer, are attached. This application does NOT allow the user to edit the reports. NOTE: When bidding, please give me an acceptable deadline. I will speciy a deadline when accepting a bid, but am willing to hear what is reasonable from each programmer. The quickest bid will not necessarily get the project. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. As I menioned in the spec, it is acceptable for the program to require a mail client to be installed on the computer. I do not feel it is necessary to have us require an SMTP server to be installed on the local computer. I know there are simple API calls built into windows that will let you generically call the default mail client, set the To and FROM adresses, the body text, subject and set an attachment, then "send". I have done this in the past and it is only a dozen lines of code or so, I just don't have the code handy to include right now. Again, as the specs indicate, an email "destination" would give the user an option to specify what format the email should be - excel, pdf, etc. Basically what I see for the email is a routine that does the same exact thing as the export to f ile option, but then takes the exported file and creates an email with that file as an attachment and sends it using the default mail client on the computer running the application. Of course there would need to be sufficient error handling that if the computer did not have a mail client, it would report an eror to the user that a mail client is required.
