"Twitter‟ is mainly used as the source of the above mentioned updates. Users can update the traffic condition via twitter by using predefined "hashtags‟ and / or "@ reply‟ of a twitter handle. Then these tweets are grabbed by a web program, processed by the Database and then marked on a map, sent as real time updates in web ; on the website The updates can be done through the website as well. The system also provides alternative routes to the journey considering the amount of traffic. Should have several components such as the Main Web Application where users can update the Status via web, Twitter API connected with Google Maps and Databases.
