i created a custom post type with the pods plugin and a corresponding user role. I need to add to things to my [login to view URL] file

1. When a user with the particular user role logs in to the dashboard, he/she can only view their authored custom post type and no one else posts.

2. When a logged in user is viewing custom post type posts on front end, he/she can only view their authored custom post type and no one else posts.

i attached a dashboard screenshot. I do not want the core files modified this all needs to be added to my currently installed themes [login to view URL] file
