CRE Loaded OSC Modifications

**** OS Commerce Experts Only **** I have a modified CRE Loaded site. I would like the following changes made: • Quick Checkout (see attached Checkout files) – A previous programmer nearly completed an expedited checkout function. The design/layout of that quick checkout is what I want. However, there needs to be a few changes. Most of the changes are cosmetic. One change includes adding a discount coupon box to the checkout process. The Voucher/Coupon module is already installed in the admin. You would be responsible for making the requested changes and ensuring proper functionality of the entire checkout process, including the discount coupon function. • Shopping Cart Page Modifications (see attached Shopping Cart Page file) – Install Google Checkout. I would be able to turn it off and on from the admin just like other payment modules. My understanding is that Google Checkout must be installed on the shopping cart page. However, if possible, I would prefer to have it installed on the first page of the checkout process where the customer elects to checkout as a Returning Customer or a New Customer. Google Checkout would be the third option. If Google Checkout cannot be placed on the first page of the checkout and must be placed on the Shopping cart page, I would like to insert some text just below the "What's In My Cart?" heading simply describing the function of various buttons. I would supply the text. A Shipping Calculator is already available on the Shopping Cart page. However, to simplify the look of the page, I would like for the calculator to be hidden until a button is clicked. If the customer clicks the Shopping Cost button, the calculator would be revealed on the Shopping Cart page. Add a Featured Products box (like the one that appears on the index page) to encourage additional sales. The box would appear just below the shopping cart (and below the Shipping Calculator when Shipping Calculator is displayed.) The caption in the upper left of the Feature Products box would read something like "Other products to consider:" • Top Category Code – Create customized code so that I can create new “top-level” categories as needed and move the existing categories “under/in” the top-level categories without the existing category URLs being altered. (The existing category URLs are created by a search engine friendly URL contribution. As such, they each have keywords embedded in the URL, as well as a “c” and category number.) The top-level categories will have all of the functionality of the regular categories (e.g. description fields, meta tag titles, etc.) and would be accessible in the admin like regular categories. • Navigation Menu (see attached Navigation Menu file) – I would like an expanding/collapsing vertical navigation menu in the left column and a drop down menu install in the header. You will be working on a test site. As part of the project, you must provide complete and thorough instructions, including file names and their locations that were modified or created. I need to be able to use your detailed instructions to make all of the necessary changes to the live site. I have tried to be detailed in my project request so you have a good understanding as to what is required. If you have any questions, or need clarification, please ask. Please Note: The budget is tight on this project. Bids are expected to be in the lower end of the budget range. Only OSC experts with a proven track record will be considered.
