We need to create a telemetry system to monitor cumpustion in a diesel oil burner.
We think an Arduino/Genuino platfrom has the possibilites and is cost effective to do this project. Any advice will be welcome though if a better suggestion can be submitted.
The whole concept is that we need specific sensors (see bellow) to monitor the compustion proccess and through a software to create alarma when something is not ok. To find out the specific values of any of these alarms the experiment system must have work an initial period time and be monitored manually along with the telemetry system. As soon as we will evaluate the "out of range" indication we can enter these limit values to the alarm system. The algorithms or other methods of comparison the sesnor inputs must be a kind of flexible added at alater point where experiance will be gained through the workind of the telemetry system.
All data should me able to be transmitted either my SMS, or wifi to local internet or ethernet cable connected to internet or sat phone, depending of the location of the system each time. Final destination should be a smart phone and a web page with the right visuals to picturize acquired data. Some formulas will be given from the begging some other will be added later on and it would be nice to have to ability to add at any time by user and give the visuals and the alarms values.
Sensors need for max control of the system are the following:
DIGITAL
Operation of burner: off, standby, on
water circulation: off, on
ANALOG
Diesel oil tank level
Water temp, flow, pressure
Fuel temp, pressure, flow
Outside temp
Inhouse temp
Burning flame temp
Exhaust gases temp

I have all the necessary equipment available In my studio. I am ready to assemble a working prototype to verify the correct operation of the program.
But in fact, I need a more detailed description of the project.
Arduino alone cannot send message over sms or email or even on mobile. I suggest interfacing raspberry pi (internet enabled) and arduino together to achieve the project. Arduino can read analog data and then send to r-pi. We can also use Esp8600 instead of raspberry pi.
