Contracted Services: Computerized Ticketing/Financial Consultant

A U.S.-based entrepreneur is developing a computerized ticketing system that will serve an international market and the USA. This is a start-up operation. We are seeking an experienced professional, to work on a contract basis virtually.

The position has three general focus areas:

SYSTEMS:

Be the lead on receiving the training from the service provider and train staff.

Working with the CEO, determine the different administrative access levels.

Determine standard and design custom reports for marketing, sales promotions, and accounting.

Create an Operations Manual / Personnel Policy Handbook, utilizing the training tools provided and making them specific to our operation.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:

Create a Financial Management system that includes: cash and cash equivalent handling utilizing proper checks and balances and best accounting practices.

Work directly with the CEO to establish payment portals using PayPal and a yet to be determined bank located in the country of operations.

Assist in the establishment of the necessary bank accounts, creation of the chart of accounts and other related financial tools to manage the finances of the Company.

Create a system to integrate payments made in USA dollars and international currency, into reports that reflect the local currency.

FINANCIAL AND HUMAN RESOURCE OVERSIGHT:

Utilizing QuickBooks, handle payables, receivables, payroll, pay roll reporting, tax filings, and government reporting. Create monthly cash flow projections, actuals comparisons, and forecasts on a monthly basis.

Manage all banking and payment portals.

Reconcile all accounts on a monthly basis.

Handle disputes, refunds, and other and specialized financial transactions.

Manage a proper bid process for purchase of equipment and services.

Act as Human Resources Manager.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ten years working with computerized ticketing systems.

High skill set with all social media.

Five-years working as a controller, business manager or related position.

Teaching, Training and Supervisory Experience.

Excellent People Skills.

High level of proficiency with Quickbooks.

Experience working with multiple currencies a plus.

Must have own computer, excellent Internet/WiFi, and successful experience working virtually.
