We had more than 3 million active users (active meaning logged in at least one a week), and had to manage more than 10000req/sec. We also had to manage some high load, sharded, replicated MySQL/MariaDB databases and HA NFS setups. I have experience in video streaming too, we streamed the annual speech of the Hungarian prime minister. We have also built our own N+1 redundant virtualization cluster. All of this as a part of a small but highly efficient 4 member team. I'm proficient in C, C++, Java, PHP, Python, Perl and Bash. I can work with AWS, used their APIs for several scripted tasks before. I've decided to move from Budapest to Thailand and now I'm working as a freelancer. I'm expert in web scraping either using perl or python, or even only bash. I can scrape everything which is available online.
