I'm looking for an eCommerce expert to provide recommendations and feedback on my website design, layout, cognitive ease, products, price points, shipping prices, etc. Currently my conversion rate seems on the lower side, and my cart abandonment rate is very high - I think because of my high shipping prices in relation to my product prices.
This is my strategy right now:
Most product prices on my website are the prices I pay from my suppliers. I make profit from the shipping prices (which may cost 30-50% of the product price). Take this product for example:

Product display cost: 6.99
Shipping costs to buyer: 2.95
Total cost to buyer: 9.94
Total cost to me: 6.00
Would it be a better strategy to instead offer free shipping, and increase the product display cost to [url removed, login to view] This was I still make the same profit. Would my conversion rate be higher?
Like I said, it's my first time creating an eCommerce website. I'm looking for an eCommerce expert to provide feedback and recommendations. I'd like a .pdf report containing this information.
