Developer wanted for new social networking site

Hi, We're looking for developer/s to create a website (and also an iPhone app) for a new social networking site that uses a recommendation engine and location based services. It's closest relative may be inspired to [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] Please investigate both these sites before submitting. We would also like to investigate the option of using existing APIs and location based services (eg: Google Places) and would expect you to recommend the appropriate tools and services. We're still in the early stages of developing this idea, but would like to get in touch with someone who is passionate about their skill base and can offer programming advice and suggestions. Our background is in website design, so all page layouts will be provided in Illustrator format. If you have highly developed skills in programming, specific experience with social networking sites and can provide great advice, we'd love to hear from you. When bidding, please include details on how you would go about this project should you be successful - including what previous skills would be of an advantage to this project, what platform/s you would recommend using in building the site, etc. We are not technical experts so basic terms, explanations and your justifications for why would be good!
