If you have Windows OS my application will run, so I am unsure what the connection to Chrome is.
I own a software tool that may be used to mine data off most websites. The software is driven and controlled by a unique VBScript that has to be written for each different website, This VBScript is yours when the project is complete. Each website requires its own unique VBScript as the HTML of each website is different, and the data to be extracted is embedded within the HTML.
In previous projects spread over a number of years, I have extracted data from websites including the following profiles: NFL betting, horse racing odds, sex offender registries, financial data, real estate listings, hardware retail comparisons.
The output from the data extract may be placed directly into a variety of data stores including: XML formatted file, CSV formatted file, Excel spreadsheet, SQL database.
The data extract process can be run on my environment (extra charge), or in your environment after installation of the software.
Essentially the base software tool behaves as an automated web-browser that reads a website that it is directed to, parses the HTML for the required data and extracts the data in readiness for output formatting. The software may be controlled to run once at a specific time of the day, or run many times over a day.
I also design and develop websites and use HTML, CSS and scripts frequently.
