Computer Vision - Stereo Vision - People Detection - Real Time

Hello, This is a computer vision job for a people detection and tracking software. In the file PeopleDetection you can find the requirements of the software. We would like to separate the project into phases. The first phase is a simple demo video (can be made in MatLab) only to show that you can perform this job. The situation is 2 top fisheye cameras side by side (for Stereo Vision) inside a bus. It is a narrow and crowded situation and people are very close to each other. You can either detect and track full people body or, if it gives better results, to detect and track only the heads or heads + shoulders. You can use the techniques you fell that give better result on this situation. In the files attached The requirements of the software are very simple and you can find them on the attached file. We would like this project to be made in phases, with an initial "sample" phase to see preliminary results, the development phase and the final production phase. You can use the techniques you feel to be the best. In the file DepthMap attached we have a sugestion, but you should use whatever method you feel is the best.
