Convert a WinForms C# application to UWP, so that I runs on a Windows 10 IoT Core (Raspberry Pi 2/3)

ABOUT THE PROGRAM I have a program written in C#, using WinForms that does the following; - Connects and communicates to external HW via a Serial Port (Virtual) - External HW provides feedback regarding the number and type of available functions (INPUT, RELAY or PWM) - Function_Button(s) are created for available functions, which can then be dragged and dropped into 2 other panels. Always Active Triggered Always Active - Any functions dropped into this panel are ALWAYS ACTIVE, meaning when the START button is pressed, they will start. Triggered - Can have MULTIPLE Trigger Groups. - Each Trigger Group must have at least an available function of type INPUT. - Each available function, when dragged into a panel, creates the function specific user control, that displays the available options/configurations. - It's currently possible to Save and Load the configuration. WHAT IS REQUIRED The external HW currently used has reached it's limits, therefore I'm moving it to use a Raspberry Pi 2 (or 3) instead, running on the Windows 10 IoT Core. I need this WinForms program to be ported to work on this new platform (ie. UWP on Windows 10 IoT, running on a Raspberry Pi 2/3). I do NOT need the serial communication functionality ported as I will handle porting of this code to access the available HW on the Raspberry Pi.
