DON'T TALK ABOUT DIET AND NUTRITION IN ANY CHAPTER. This is discussed elsewhere. Just the theory behind this. Please pick ONE chapter from: The Chapter would need to be 20 pages. 20 pages will suffice, but you can make it longer if you wish. Pictures that are non copyright can be included as well if you wish. And would be useful. ## Deliverables 1. Death Begins in the Colon The early Dr Kellogg and his operations on the bowel. He talked about the thousands of operations he did and how he didn't see a normal colon. How the early pioneers cleaned out the colon. Strategies to clean out the colon: Enema Colonic Irrigation Herbs: Senna Cascara Aloe Rhubarb Yellow Dock Don't talk about too many of the complications or side effects with these herbs! We're trying not to scare people, we're trying to encourage them to clean their colon! Outcome for this chapter: People to understand the importance of their colon, large intestine. And how the early pioneers of health would clean it out FIRST before treating anything else. 2. Candida, Yeast and Fungi Talk about Candida albicans as being one strain of many types of yeast. And yeast as being a type of fungi. Talk about yeast and fungi, and there role in the body. Don't talk just about Candida. Talk about yeast and Fungi. Outcome for this chapter: People to know all about Yeast and Fungi and it's potential role in the body. 4. The Old Masters Talk about people like: Samuel Thomson [login to view URL] Bernard Jensen (THE MOST FAMOUS natural healer) Did a lot of work on Nutrition, and furthering iridology )the science of looking in peoples eyes. Outcome for this chapter: People to know 4 or 5 early pioneers of natural health. Feel intimate and close to them. And know about the struggles of their life. And also the RIDICULOUS medical practises of their day like blood letting. 5. Becheaump Vs Pasteur (ie germ theory vs terrain theory) Louis Pasteur brought us the germ theory. But Antoine Becheaump believed disease were caused internally by the body [login to view URL]échamp Modern day people like Dr Robert Young who preaches something called Acid/Alkaline talk about his theory, and what is called Pleomorphism, or Pleomorphic theory, which is that our own cells transform, a red blood cell turns into a bacterial cell and back again. They can see this with a Dark Field Microscope. More here: [login to view URL] Outcome for this chapter: People to know there's an alternative for the germ theory, and that some people believe bacteria, and viruses are transformed cells in the body. 6. Western Scientific Medicine vs Traditional Medicine Talk about how Western Scientific medicine seems to see the body as individual parts, and Traditional (natural medicine) which see's disease as a state of Dysfunction in the body. Outcome for this chapter: The HOLISTIC or the way to look at the body as a WHOLE, rather than as it in seperate pieces. 7 Detoxifying and the Healing Crisis Hering invented what was called 'Hering's law of cure' that when we heal, our elimination organs: bowels, kidneys, skin and sinuses (respiratory) tend to open. Outcome for this chapter: That if someone eats a piece of fruit, and their skin breaks out it may be their body eliminating. That some sicknesses natural health people have classified in the past may be a state of the body trying to heal. 9. The Cellular Level How your cells work. Sodium and Potassium in the cell. And ATP. Outcome for this chapter: A scientific, 'MEATY' chapter. Something for people to 'dig there teeth into' A bit complex, but simple enough for the laymen to read. People to feel they've learned something IN DEPTH about their body. but still simple enough that if someones doesn't speak STRONG English they could still get an appreciation for it. 11. Women's Issues Pick a topic from: - Anorexia - Pregnancy - Menstration/Hormones/Hormone Replacement Therapy and write about it. Outcome for this chapter: Something that would feel like a woman talking to another woman (Even though the book will be written by a man.) To feel like someone is on the same page as them, and understands. Empathasies with some of the struggles unique to women. Adventures into the Unknown: 16. - Kirlian Photgraphy 17. - Colour Therapy 18. - Electro Magnetic Fields Outcome for this chapter: For each of these 3 seperate chapters. It is just to open peoples minds up into some of the unknown.
