You must identify which laws apply in the US, UK and Europe as far as data protection is concerned.? **Background:** The company is a manufacturer of stationery for the retails industry. Its Head Office is in London and it has 3 manufacturing and distribution sites in the UK.? The sites are connected via a WAN with the Head Office and also have LAN internally (star topology). They are using windows 7 and Sage for the ordering, production and distribution. (the above paragraph applies to the UK) (The following paragraphs apply to US and the new sites in Europe)? The company has recently expanded to Italy, Spain, Germany and North America. At the moment it has problems with the ordering system in these new sites. Orders are recorded on to an order? processing system running Windows NT.? The information is transferred from laptops at point of sale by the salesperson. The system then checks the stock levels and if there are sufficient levels the stock is allocated and an order confirmation form is generated.
