1. In the following circuits, what is the total number of stuck-at-faults (uncollapsed)? Find the collapsed fault set, the test vectors to detect all stuck at faults, and the fault coverage. If fault coverage is not 100% show the undetected faults.

2. (a) Draw the schematic of a 5-bit Internal XOR LFSR with feedback polynomial x5+x2+1. Write the state transition matrix and provide the output sequence after 5 cycles if the initial state is 10101. (b) Write the HDL code of this LFSR and simulate your design in Quartus or ModelSim. Assume the initial state of the flip-flops is 10101. Provide the resulting simulation waveforms after 5 clock cycles and compare with your hand-analysis results. Note: Remember to use structural HDL coding so that the tool does not change the structure of your circuit. 3. Search the IEEE or ACM databases to find recent articles on digital testing or digital signal processing/controll of biomedical related circuits in the past 10 years. Clearly cite one paper (provide the list of authors, Title, name of journal or article it was published, and year it was published) in this area. Briefly, summarize the main theme of work in your own words.
