To take 8 hours of simple capture video of a one day course (comprised of 16 x 30 min MP4 files) - and simply edit them together - removing blank sections (before start, during breaks etc). Add appropriate start, end and break title cards. Render and upload to Vimeo Pro account. We need you to be using Final Cut Pro X - and send us the FCP files back. Prior editor found it took 2 hours to process a day of course video capture, clean it up, prep it and upload it to Vimeo. Previously we paid a student £10/hour to do this work. We will mail you a 32GB USB key with a day of video on it. You need to clean it up, prep it, render and upload to our Vimeo account - using the instructions we provide. Mail us back the USB with the Final Cut Pro files on it. We will then review. If acceptable we will deliver you an entire 7 day course to clean up. NOTE: this is a test project. We have over 40 days of video that need this process - and generate approximately 100 day of such videos per year. NOTE: you need to be UK based.

This opportunity is of great interest to me. I've had experience filming and editing work, which has led up to me having good filming techniques, editing skills and an eye for detail. These Skills have enabled me to boost up in creativity, allowing me to add more features and techniques to enhance the final footage. Other than making videos, i also have experience in design. I've created many work such as logos, flyers, motion graphics and more. Having this experience allows me to understand my clients needs when a project is given to me. I current study creative computing at goldsmiths university. This has vastly broaden my knowledge within the computing industry. I have experience in HTML, CSS, JAVA script and JQUERY. I currently learning C++ and hopefully make good apps when i perfect it. Thinking creative is by far one of my strongest skills i currently possess. In every scenario that I’ve come across, i like to think outside the box to unearth new ideas. My hard working enthusiasm will allow me to be a success at this job and i feel i will only continue to get better and better. My clients needs is the most important thing for every project. My aim is to always make their vision come to live. It can take a lot of effort but the final product always shows that it has been worth it.
