I'm looking to create a series of short & sharp IT Training Videos that can show our userbase how to use IT systems, tools and new technologies. I'd like them to have a cartoon relaxed feel with a central character (a friendly slightly nerdy character) that becomes the brand for the videos.
Initially, we're looking to create one video but would aim to have another 5-10 dependant on there popularity.
The first video would be showing how to connect third parties to our Video Conference systems via Chrome, sample use case would be showing:
- Have a meeting with a third party client who hasn't VC equipment
- Want to interview a candidate for a job
We would want to show how to book a room and VC bridge in MS outlook. Forwarding the details to the candidate (sample attached). Then the third party logging on and connecting via chrome to the meeting.
The videos will be used in a number of scenarios:
-Played in reception areas (without sound playing) so need to still be understood.
-On an IT Self-Help Portal that's stored in the cloud
-Viewed by third party users showing them how to connect via Chrome
As per the above use-cases, we want the video to be able to be understood with/without sounds playing. We are happy to take advice or use text on the screen instead.

The key for us is the videos are engaging/eye-catching for people to watch, but not too long so people don't loose focus. Under a minute would be perfect.
