Commission Manager - This is just a simple applicaiton that creates commission statements for advisors in pdf formats using txt input files. These pdf commission statements will be emailed to all the advisors with a single click. This application was originally developed by our in-house staff member 5 or 6 years ago who is no longer working here. Late last year we have upgraded our infrastructure to new Cloud environment which has Windows 2008 and Office 2010 and all of our applications were successfully migrated across to new platform except Commission Manager as it was not compatible with newer version softwares. This requires an expertise in Microsoft Access 2007 and VB forms and macros in order to make it compatible with our new infrastructure (Windows 2008 and Office 2010). Hence, we are looking for someone to help us with tweaking our Commission Manager software and migrate it to our Cloud environment.

Commission Manager - This is just a simple applicaiton that creates commission statements for advisors in pdf formats using txt input files.  =>We assume txt input files are imported into database and based imported data it creates commission statements in PDF  2. These pdf commission statements will be emailed to all the advisors with a single click. => Is this feature to be implemented ? or already exists ? 3. This application was originally developed by our in-house staff member 5 or 6 years ago who is no longer working here. =>Ok. In which format the application exist? 2003/2007 Please provide existing database.   4. Dear Sir/Madam, Normally the MS-Access 2007 designed application file without any problem run on MS-Access 2010. Since, your system just imports txt/CSV and automate to MS-Outlook to send the email. It should work. Can you share the program and share when the error occurs, a) importing the txt/CSV b) calculation or c) automation with MS-Outlook. Thank you, Regards, Havit

Hello Sir, I'm a freelance MS Access developer and have developed several databases for small firms. I'd like to inform you that Office 2010 is not compatible with Windows 2008 system. You need Office 2013 to make it compatible. Try changing the office and I'm confident that your MS Access database 2007 will work if you change your MS Office without modifying it. Regards, Aye

I not only completed a few projects on Freelancer.com using this exact type of work, but I work on this type of stuff everyday in my job. I know VBA like a rockstar and I was even a teacher of Access/SQL. When I got to my current workplace there were tons of VBA macros written for Office 2003 and I upgraded all of them to Office 2010. This shoudl be a breeze for me.

Hello there, We have vast experience in Access all the way from 2000 to 2013 (including SQL Backend and cloud SQL backend versions) and regularly code our own VBA modules and macros to automate workflow, so the conversion from your 2007 system to 2010 whilst maintaining functionality and automation of pdf generation and email to advisers will be very familiar to us. Without further detail on the existing application I have put the estimated hours quite high at 30 hours (which will be complete in 1 week) to anticipate any complex functions. However, once I have further detailed information, this estimate can be ameliorated down. I look forward to discussing this project further with you. Converting this to a c# windows forms and using the latest Microsoft database tools (SQL Express) will update your systems and could allow for integration to your existing office packages.
