Access Database Feature Enhancements

I have an access database that I am working on completing over the next couple of months. I am struggling with one component of the work. I have built an appointment scheduling diary into the system and it's not really working the way I would like it. My research tells me that what I want to do can't be done in Access, but I am sure it can. In particular, I want:
1. To be able to see 3 - 4 calendars side by side on one form (mostly done)
2. To be able to click and drag appointments (not sure if this is doable)
3. Preferably do the above within Access. It needs to have similar functionality to Outlook but fully within Access. I don't want to do this with automation to Outlook unless it can all embed within the database and be fully data driven from Access.
