We are setting up an E-Commerce website using "shopware". See [login to view URL] for details on the product. In short: Shopware is using smarty template engine, 960 grid system and jQuery. You'll get full access to our shop during the development phase, you can also set up you own working copy using the CE version without cost.
We are selling consumer products and complex products to our customers. These are all around modern / technology supported living. In detail we are offering complex things like Homeautomation systems, Home Networking components, IP Cams and Controled heating solutions. We also supply Tablet PC stands, Stylus Pens, Mobile Phone accessories etc.
Your job is to support us in setting up the shop with a professional design. This includes template optimization and mainly graphical design for the shop.
Graphics can be added very easily to the shop, so you main task will be the actual designing, I assume.
We have products in about 20 different categories. Each category will need a header graphic (798 x 545) that sets the right mood / expectations for our customer. We will supply pictures of the products, you are required to supply the supporting pictures / backgrounds and make the category header out of it.
In addition, we would like to see the general shop template being modified to give the shop a professional, reliable look and feel.
As third task, we would like you to create some sample product teasers / banners, which should be handed over as PSD file. We would like to be able to add product promotions on our own, following the general design, later on.
If the job is done well, we are going to hire you for some addon work. We'll be adding a digital product consultant, which will need a
good graphical design, too. This will be another 20-30 graphics to deliver. This option will NOT be part of the initial site setup,
we'll agree on the price for this once the first part is done. So you don't need to consider it in you initial bid.
