I can understand for the commercial operation of multicast services, billing modes are very important. Charge by time, charge by traffic and mixed charge can be adopted. The time mode includes charge by fixed time and by served time. Now, according to your description I am assuming that you are initially going for the Fixed mode option. Where the subscribing slot will be fixed and user will just subscribed for the application. Still, a queries in my mind that how you will validate the time? I mean if a subscriber purchased 2 hours for example now how you are planning to calculate that he is not using more than 2 hours? Is there already any hardware which is managing this features? Can you please make me clear if their is any hardware integration is required to manage this as well? I am sure that you are already using some Service Selection Gateway which is taking place to manage all the necessary things but can you please make me confirm that is there any requirement to deal with this? Apart from all I can understand your requirement and I have already worked in so many application where I have managed the Subscription. So, Just want to align with your thought to make the thing correct. I like investigation and analysis and that is why I always appreciate these tasks where I get some chance to learn new thing.
