A quick and dirty, Proof Of Concept (POC) to demonstrate a user interface for data (and relationship) modeling. Create a C# .NET 4.0 application that can build objects and their relationships to other objects, by using very basic design elements namely 3 DataGrid (View) tables horizontally across the page. No fancy graphic elements required for POC. The application will be able to visually demonstrate a list of objects, the CRUD of objects and their simple properties and links to other objects ie: like a mind map style model. And read/write this model to xml for now. More specific details will be available to the successful applicant. The POC is about research, development and feasibility into whether you can potentially have a greater user experience (UX) by having a more simple, reusable, user interface (UI) than current modeling tools and without their limitation. Once the POC application passes user testing and goes through any concept/design change iterations, it will be applied to a real-world requirement. Start/end times, hours per week etc. are flexible. The total budget is $600 and shouldn't take longer than 120 hours. I'd prefer if this can be completed within 6 weeks.

Based on what you posted, i'm thinking speedy development isn't as much of a priority as finding someone that can understand the requirements and has some experience developing similar applications.
