Contentful App UI Feature Upgrade

I’m refreshing the user interface of our existing Contentful app and want it to feel faster, cleaner, and noticeably more engaging. The core work centers on adding new interactive elements while we tidy up the current component structure and swap outdated graphics for sharper, modern assets. This is an existing functioning gym member app that cannot be disrupted during this process. Advanced features such as member smoothie orders, building out member workouts, and integrating with nutrition apps like MyFitnessPal are areas we’d like to explore. You’ll be working inside Contentful’s App Framework (React + TypeScript) so familiarity with the Contentful SDK, App Extension API, and standard tooling (Git, Node, CSS-in-JS or Tailwind) is essential. I already have a live codebase and access tokens ready; you’ll fork, implement the UI changes, and open a PR for review. Key deliverables: • Re-architect any cluttered React components for clearer, maintainable structure • Design and implement the agreed interactive pieces (e.g., animated or reactive graphics, in-app helpers, micro-interactions) that align with our brand kit • Optimise all new assets for performance and accessibility, ensuring WCAG-AA contrast and keyboard navigation • Provide a concise hand-off note explaining component locations and how to extend them further Additional Requirements: • Ongoing support availability for updates and changes. • Interest in future collaboration for additional locations. Acceptance: The updated build must compile cleanly, deploy to our staging space, and all new interactions should behave consistently across modern browsers. Once merged, we’ll do a quick walkthrough together to confirm everything meets the brief.
