Summary We are an Australian supplier in the commercial restaurant and hospitality equipment space, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. We have an established sales team that has been with us for nearly a decade — highly experienced and skilled. Approximately 30% of our customer base comes from Indian and surrounding communities, and we are now seeking an additional Account Manager who understands this market culturally and commercially to join our team. This is a sales conversion role, not customer service. Your responsibility is to turn inbound enquiries into deals and deals into paid orders. Responsibilities - Respond quickly to inbound enquiries (phone & email). - Qualify leads and create deals in the CRM. - Prepare and send quotes. - Follow up consistently until a clear decision is reached. - Convert opportunities into sales orders. - Maintain accurate CRM records. -Work collaboratively with the existing sales team without overlap. KPIs - Lead response time - Lead → Deal conversion - Deal → Order conversion - Follow-up consistency - Quote turnaround time - Gross profit contribution Ideal Candidate - Experience in inbound sales or account management with closing responsibility. - Comfortable in a high-volume transactional sales environment. - Confident communicator who can guide customers toward decisions. - Structured, disciplined, and commercially minded. Highly Advantageous - Job is primarily in English, but Hindi language skills, along with other regional dialects where applicable are handy - Familiarity communicating with Indian, Pakistani, or Sri Lankan hospitality operators. - Experience selling to Australian customers.
