I have a growing library of raw educational footage that needs to be transformed into tight, engaging lessons for YouTube. Each recording contains the core teaching content, but it also includes the inevitable pauses, miss-takes, and filler moments that drag viewing time and hurt retention. Your job is to turn those rough takes into fast-moving, easy-to-watch videos that feel casual and friendly—exactly the tone my brand is known for. Here is what I’m after: • Tight pacing: remove stumbles, long breaths, false starts, and awkward gaps so the narrative flows naturally from hook to payoff. • Dynamic flow: tasteful jump cuts, smooth transitions, and subtle zooms or pans to keep visual energy high without becoming distracting. • Consistent polish: colour-grade for a warm, inviting look, balance lighting levels, level out audio, and eliminate background noise. • Captions when helpful: open or closed, accurate, and styled to match channel branding. • Brand alignment: graphics, lower-thirds, fonts, and any calls-to-action should feel relaxed yet professional—think “expert next door,” not stuffy corporate. • YouTube-ready exports: deliver final H.264 files in 1080p (occasionally 4K when source allows) plus a separate SRT file if captions are used. Acceptance criteria ✔ Video length trimmed to the agreed runtime without sacrificing educational clarity. ✔ Audio and visuals perfectly in sync, peak-normalized, and free of noticeable hums or pops. ✔ First 15 seconds deliver a clear hook; viewer retention graphs should not dip sharply in those opening moments. ✔ Final files open and play flawlessly on YouTube Studio’s uploader. I work primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro, but I’m happy as long as your workflow—whether that’s Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a blend with After Effects and Adobe Audition—delivers on quality. If this sounds like the kind of craft you enjoy, let’s talk through sample footage and set up our first batch edit.
