Video Editor (YouTube) – After Effects Specialist We’re hiring a skilled Video Editor with strong After Effects expertise to produce high-retention YouTube content that drives growth and audience engagement. This role is ideal for someone who understands YouTube pacing, hooks, and storytelling, and can elevate edits with motion graphics, animated text, and visual overlays—not just clean cuts. ? Responsibilities Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos with growth-focused pacing and retention in mind Craft strong hooks, transitions, animated titles, lower thirds, and kinetic typography using After Effects Stabilise footage, handle basic colour correction, audio cleanup, and green screen keying Add b-roll, visual cues, overlays, and captions to improve watch time and engagement Maintain brand consistency using reusable templates and organised asset libraries Deliver final exports using YouTube-optimised settings (1080p / 4K, VBR, high bitrate) ✅ Requirements Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects Proven experience editing videos for YouTube channels (samples required) Solid understanding of retention, watch-time psychology, and audience drop-off points Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and meet deadlines consistently ⭐ Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Advanced motion graphics & AE templates Thumbnail design experience LUTs and colour workflow knowledge Experience working with growth-driven YouTube brands or creators
